AVERAGE 10’x10’ EXAMPLE KITCHEN
Although this design may vary slightly, we will use the example without a lazy-susan. It is basically 4x base units x $59 and 7x wall units x $49 for a grand total of $579. It is fair to say the average assemble fee is $500-800 per kitchen. You can easily save this money and assemble the average kitchen in less than 5-7 hours.
ASSEMBLY TIMES
Assembly times may vary. The average assembly time-frame is 7-14 business days. If your cabinets are not ready by the 14th business day, then your assembly is free. The first day is the next business day after your paid receipt. Full kitchen assembly orders have priority over single orders. This means we prioritize customers who place orders for full kitchens before random 1-3 cabinet assembly. So, although you buy 1 cabinet and want it assembled, the assembly crew will work on complete kitchen orders first before tackling the single piece. We don’t interrupt the crew to push through a 1-3 piece order.
There is an optional rush charge of +50% if you want to guarantee your cabinets are assembled within 7 business days. This optional up-charge is not always available. In addition, a limited number of pieces may be rushed due to labor staff issues. This limited number is normally about 10 pieces. This up-charge helps support the added overtime, extra hours, or logistics change to the schedule. If your cabinets are not ready by the 7th business day, then your rush fee is free, but not your assembly fees.
Assembly fees are non-refundable in any event including returning a cabinet for another size. Since assembled cabinets are not new in the box, if you need to return a cabinet, there is a small re-stocking fee.
In the event we cannot reach you by phone or email, we will document the date of finished assembly with photos. Please make sure your contact information is up-to-date. We will call and email one-time only.
PICKING UP YOUR ASSEMBLED CABINETS
Please make sure you bring proper transportation when picking up your cabinets. We will not attempt to make a loading job complicated and difficult with an improper vehicle. Loading your cabinets are technically your responsibility and additional help may be required.
WE WILL NOT TIE DOWN YOUR LOAD. This safety issue is the responsibility of the driver to assure the cabinets and load is safe and secure. This includes the safety of the load for the road and the safety of the cabinets. The best type of transportation is a BOX TRUCK. These can be handily rented from u-haul or Penske and there is a u-haul office on Manchester Street. A box truck is nice because it normally offers enough room for the cabinets to lay on their back in the truck. Furthermore, a box truck can be driven in rain or shine. Tarps are your responsibility if picking up your cabinet(s) in the rain.
We limit employee participation in loading to 15 minutes only.
If you plan to load various cabinets 1-by-1 in a multi-trip scenario, then bring help to assist. Loading 1-3 cabinets x 3-5 loads is not our responsibility.
We do not offer a delivery service nor do we recommend a company.
